What makes a download 4K?
A 4K YouTube download normally has a video height of 2160 pixels for a landscape recording. The original upload must support that level of detail and the extraction service must return the corresponding file. A 4K label in a title, thumbnail or filename cannot establish that a 2160p file exists. This page highlights matching formats and keeps other real resolutions visible when the target is unavailable.
More pixels may help with landscape footage, large displays or detailed visual references. They also usually mean larger downloads. Compare actual file sizes when available and consider the length of the recording before choosing a version for a phone or a limited-storage device.
Separate streams at high resolutions
High-resolution video can be supplied without sound. If an entry is marked Separate audio, download both files using the dialog and merge them with a media tool. This site does not silently turn two streams into a finished movie. Choose a complete lower-resolution version with sound if that better suits your immediate needs.
When 2160p is not returned
The upload may be lower resolution, higher-quality processing may be unfinished, or the provider may not return the format for this link. Check the original source and retry later for temporary failures. A returned 1440p or 1080p file keeps its real resolution. This downloader does not increase it by changing an extension or filename.
Download 4K download tickets are valid for 45 minutes. The upstream media URL may expire sooner. Paste the original YouTube link again to request fresh results; a public post can still become unavailable or be removed.
